The results of the 3rd round of the international hockey tournament were summed up in Ashgabat
The matches of the third round have ended at the ongoing international ice hockey tournament in Ashgabat.
In the afternoon, a match in Group A between the teams Feniks (Uzbekistan) and Bahrain Ice Hockey Club (Bahrain) took place at the large arena of the Winter Sports Complex, TDH writes.
The Uzbeks were determined to play and already in the first half they scored five unanswered goals against the opponent. At the same time, the third goal, which was scored by Abdusamad Nasirov, turned out to be very curious. The striker of the Uzbek club decided to stretch the goalkeeper of the Bahraini team from his zone with a weak wrist shot, as if in training. However, he was not ready to reflect a fairly light puck that flew through all the zones.
In the second period, the Bahrainis somewhat reduced the gap in the score, playing three goals and conceding another one. On the second break, the teams left with the score 6:3 in favor of the Feniks team.
The final 20 minutes passed with the overwhelming advantage of the Uzbek hockey players, who scored seven more unanswered goals against the opponent, setting the final score – 13:3 in their favor.
