Mountaineers of Turkmenistan installed the national flag on the top of 'Manaslu'

Employees of the service enterprises group 'Morinjgeologiya' conquered the Himalayan peak 'Manaslu' (8,163 m), which is the eighth highest mountain in the world. At its summit, the State Flag of Turkmenistan was unfurled in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the country's Independence. The name 'Manaslu' translates from Sanskrit as 'Mountain of Spirits.'

The ascent was organized by the Nepalese side under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the Board of 'Morinjgeologiya' GSP, Arno Ter-Sankov. The expedition included citizens from Latvia, Russia, and other countries. All participants of the ascent are experienced climbers who have previously climbed significant peaks such as Everest (8,848 m), K2 (8,611 m), Aconcagua (6,962 m), Ama Dablam (6,814 m), Kilimanjaro (5,895 m), Ararat (5,165 m), Mont Blanc (4,810 m), and Matterhorn (4,478 m). The flag of Turkmenistan was also raised on all these peaks.

Since 1993, 'Morinjgeologiya' has been conducting comprehensive engineering and geological studies in the waters of the largest seas in Europe. The collected data ensures the reliability and safety of offshore oil and gas projects, including drilling, laying underwater pipelines, and constructing other marine structures. All work is carried out in accordance with high domestic and international standards.

As part of joint projects with international companies such as 'Dragon Oil,' 'Morinjgeologiya' conducts geological studies at the 'Jeitun' and 'Jigalibek' fields. This data contributes to the successful development of Turkmenistan's offshore oil and gas resources. During field studies, information is recorded electronically, and a differential GPS system is used to determine coordinates with high accuracy. The collected data is processed and interpreted using licensed geoinformation and automated design software products.

Membership in the Russian Union of Oil and Gas Builders allows 'Morinjgeologiya' GSP to actively cooperate with leading companies in the industry and stay abreast of the latest achievements in the field of engineering and geological research.
