The Netherlands national team beat Romania 3-0 in the match of the 1/8 finals of the 2024 European Championship. The meeting was held in Munich.

The goals were scored by Cody Gakpo (20th minute) and Doniell Malen (83, 90+3).

Gakpo, who plays at club level for Liverpool, now has three goals at Euro 2024. He caught up with Georges Mikautadze (Georgia), Jamal Musiala (Germany) and Ivan Schranz (Slovakia) in the list of the tournament's top scorers.

The Netherlands will play Turkey in the 1/4 finals. The match will take place on July 6 in Berlin and will start at 23:55 Ashgabat time.
