Today, July 23, Turkmen athletes from the capital’s International Airport went to Paris to participate in the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games. The main start of the four-year anniversary will take place from July 26 to August 11.

Turkmenistan will be represented at the Olympics by six athletes:

JUDO

• Serdar Rakhimov (weight category up to 66 kg);
• Maysa Pardaeva (weight category up to 57 kg).

WEIGHTLIFTING

• Davranbek Khasanbaev (weight category up to 102 kg).

SWIMMING

• Musa Zhalaev (100 meters, freestyle);
• Ainura Primova (100 meters backstroke).

ATHLETICS

• Valentina Meredova (100 m).
