The "Ahal" Football Club is actively preparing for the fight for medals in the second half of the championship of Turkmenistan. The team ranks third in the Major League standings, scoring 34 points in 16 matches. Arkadag holds the lead with 48 points, and "Altyn Asyr" is in second place (37 points).

Currently, "Ahal" is conducting training camps in the Turkish Kartepe under the guidance of acting head coach Velsahet Ovezov. The former coach of the team, Dovlet Annayev, went to work with the youth national team of Turkmenistan (U-20).

The club's press service shared information about the transfer news. The "Ahal" team was joined by Azat Amanov from Ashgabat and Magtymberdy Berenov from "Nebitchi". In addition, "Ahal" and "Arkadag" exchanged goalkeepers: Rahat Japarov returned to "Ahal", and Rustem Ahalliyev went in the opposite direction. At the same time, "Ahal" has leased two players: Shihdurdy Amandurdiyev and Orazaly Begnazarov will spend the second half of the season in Ashgabat.

In preparation for the resumption of the championship of Turkmenistan, "Ahal" will hold a number of test matches: A meeting with Al-Safa club (Saudi Arabia) will take place on July 27, a match against Fethiyespor (Turkey) is scheduled for August 1, a game with "Al-Ahdoud" (Saudi Arabia) will take place on August 4, and the final test match with "Gol Gohar" (Iran) will take place on August 7.

These friendly meetings will allow the coaching staff to assess the team's readiness for the upcoming official competitions. The training camp will last until August 10, after which the team will return to Turkmenistan to prepare for the match of the 19th round against Mary's "Energetik", which is scheduled for August 17.

At the same time, there are several injured players in the "Ahal" squad who continue to recover, these are Dovran Hojamammedov, Igor Sekov and Akmammad Metdayev.
