Ali Gurbany became the new head coach of "Shagadam"

The football club "Shagadam" from the city of Turkmenbashi announced the appointment of a new head coach. The team was led by 73-year-old Ali Gurbani, who replaced Yevgeny Tkachenko in this post. It is noteworthy that Tkachenko remains at the club and will work as Gurbany's assistant. This is reported by the Football Federation of Turkmenistan. During his career, Gurbany has worked with several leading clubs in the country, and is also an honored coach of Turkmenistan. Currently "Shagadam" under the leadership of Ali Gurbany, is holding a training camp in Kartep, Turkey. The training sessions will last until August 8, where the new mentor is working on the tactics of the team and preparing it for the upcoming matches. Strengthening before the resumption of the Turkmen championship, Shagadam actively worked in the summer transfer window, signing four new players. Three players from Ashgabat joined the team: Shatlyk Kurbanov, Didar Tejenov and Hojanazar Kurbanov. The goalkeeper position was strengthened by Muhamed Ovezov, who previously played for "Energetik". In addition, several players from the reserve team were transferred to the main team. After 16 rounds, Shagadam takes 4th place in the championship of Turkmenistan, scoring 24 points. The team will resume its participation in the tournament on August 21 with a home match against "Nebichi" in the framework of the Balkan derby.
