Turkmen fighter Abdullah Babayev won a spectacular victory over Iranian athlete Mahdi Frahani at the AMC Fight Nights 124 tournament in Yerevan. Babayev finished the fight with a choke in the first round.

This victory was the second in a row for Babayev at Fight Nights tournaments. Earlier, in February 2024, he also won over Abdulaziz Yuldoshev from Tajikistan at the AMC Fight Nights 123 tournament.

Abdullah Babayev is an international master of sports in combat sambo, a three-time World Cup winner, Asian champion and world champion in pankration. The fighter represents the sports organization Gala Sports Management.
