113 sportsmen from Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats of the country gathered for the Turkmenistan Tennis Cup, which started today in the capital.

The competition, in which 59 young men and 54 girls aged 13 and over participate, is held on the courts of the multifunctional stadium «Ashgabat».

The winners of the Cup, which is served as the chief judge by the 39-year-old national category referee, holder of the international coaching category Level 1 Yevgeniy Molchanov, will be determined in singles, doubles and mixed categories.

The Turkmenistan Cup is one of the most important annual tournaments, after which the composition of the national team will be determined.

The competition will end on the 22nd of September.
