Turkmenistan's kickboxers won 12 medals at the Youth World Cup in Tashkent
Turkmen athletes won 7 gold and 5 bronze medals at the Youth World Cup in kickboxing, which concluded in Tashkent, reports the publication 'Turkmenistan: Golden Age.'
The competition, held under the auspices of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO), brought together more than 2000 athletes from over 40 countries. The tournament included competitions in seven disciplines in the ring and on the tatami, covering various styles of kickboxing, including 'full-contact,' 'low-kick,' 'kick-light,' and K-1.
The gold medals for the Turkmen team were awarded to: Akmyrat Akmyradov in 'full-contact,' Kirill Voevodin in 'low-kick,' Muhammetali Orazmuhammedov in 'kick-light,' as well as Rasul Rustamov, Salamathan Baltayev, Nurmuhammet Jorayev, and Serdar Bekenov in K-1.
The bronze medals were won by: Rashit Geldimammedov in 'low-kick,' Hangedi Atabayev in 'kick-light,' as well as Guvanch Mahmudov, Guvanch Babayev, and Ihlas Bayev in K-1.
