The player's long absence was due to an injury sustained in April this year in a match against Neman. Jumayev replaced Mikhail Bashilov on the field with the score at 3-0 in favor of Vitebsk. After his appearance, the team managed to score another goal, bringing the score to a crushing 4-0.
