
Turkmenistan Kyokushin karate team to participate in Gyumri international tournament
Ten athletes of Turkmenistan's Kyokushin karate team will compete at an international tournament to be held on May 10-11 in the Armenian city of Gyumri. This was reported to Turkmenportal by representatives of the national Kyokushin Karate Federation.
The Turkmen delegation included athletes Meilis Pashakuliyev, Dayanch Gylychdurdyev, Dayanch Khodjamuradov, Suleiman Sakhedov, Myrat Ekeev, Lala Abdullayeva, Myrat Altymukhammedov, Shikhnazar Shirzadov, Dovlyar Allov and Ayimjan Sultanova. Coach Atamyrat Khudaiberdiev has been appointed the head of the group, and the judging panel of Turkmenistan will be represented by Tirkish Korov and Tachli Saparov.
The competitions in Armenia will become an important stage in the preparation of Turkmen karate players for the World Championships, which will be held from November 28 to December 1 in the Japanese city of Maebashi. According to the representatives of the Federation, the main goal of the athletes at the upcoming world championships is to achieve success and show the best results in each weight category.
