Tennis player Novak Djokovic has undergone surgery and is preparing for the Olympics

Novak Djokovic is going to the Olympics, and this is despite the fact that a few days ago he suffered a knee injury during the French Open.

The 37-year-old Serb withdrew from the Grand Slam tournament and immediately went to the clinic for surgery. And all in order to be able to recover in time for the Games in Paris.

The surgery on Djokovic's right knee went well and very soon he hopes to return to competition in order to gain the necessary shape for the Olympics.

It should be noted that Djokovic has 98 wins at tournaments under the auspices of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), including 24 wins at Grand Slam tournaments - a record in men's singles. The athlete is an Olympic bronze medalist (2008) and a Davis Cup winner (2010).
