The 13th Asian Kurash Championship was held in Tehran (Iran) from June 6 to 10.

In total, about 200 athletes from 20 countries took part in the tournament.

Thanks to successful performances, the national team of Turkmenistan won 11 medals. Among them: 1 gold and 10 bronze awards.

Aishirin Khaidarova won the gold medal in the women's weight class up to 48 kg.
