Nine minutes later, Real's lead doubled. Bellingham passed a through ball to Mbappe, and the Frenchman sent the ball into the net with one touch. For the striker, this goal was his debut for Real.
Real took part in the match as the winner of the Champions League, Atalanta - the best team in the Europa League.
The Madrid club competed for the UEFA Super Cup for the ninth time in its history and won it for a record sixth time (2002, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2022, 2024). Barcelona and Milan have five trophies each.
