'We deserved at least one point.' The head coach of 'Altyn Asyr' on the defeat by 'Al-Khaldiya'.

Turkmen football club "Altyn Asyr" suffered a disappointing defeat against the Bahraini team "Al-Hidd" with a score of 0:1 in the second round of the AFC-2 Champions League group stage. The match, held in Ashgabat with the support of 15,500 spectators, kept the fans on edge until the final whistle.

The only goal of the game was scored in the fourth added minute of the first half. The visiting forward, Oussama Bellatreche, was in the right place at the right time, sending the ball into the home team's net. This goal proved decisive in the match, despite all the efforts of the Turkmen team in the second half.

Altyn Asyr's head coach, Yazguly Hojageldiyev, did not hide his disappointment after the match: "I believe we deserved at least one point today, but that's football, it happens. We lacked a bit of luck, I think. We played to our capabilities and showed our game."

Responding to a question about the conceded goal, Hojageldiyev admitted: "We didn't see it clearly in the dynamics either, we will need to review it in detail after the game." The coach also commented on the absence of players Annaorazov and Mirsultanov: "It's hard to say because we still created enough chances, especially in the second half, and showed a different kind of football, but unfortunately, we couldn't score."

The most dangerous moment for Altyn Asyr came in the 85th minute when substitute Arslan Saparov failed to convert what seemed to be a sure chance. Hojageldiyev commented on this episode: "It was a 100% chance, it's hard not to score in such a situation, but it happens."

Al-Hidd's head coach, Ali Ashour, expressed satisfaction with the result: "This is a very important game for us, we are glad we managed to win today and earn three points. We have great respect for Altyn Asyr, their players, and their coach. The game was tough, especially at the beginning of the first half. But we managed to break their resistance and score a goal." Ashour also noted that his team had to make adjustments in the second half: "We had to make several substitutions to prevent their fast players from breaking away on counterattacks."

The best player of the match and the author of the winning goal, Oussama Bellatreche, emphasized the team spirit: "We tried to play our game, the coach advised us before the game on how to best play against Altyn Asyr, and we prepared very hard in training, we played this match very disciplined."

This is the second consecutive defeat for Altyn Asyr in the current AFC-2 Champions League campaign. In the first round, the team lost away to Air Force with a score of 1:2. Despite the unsuccessful start, Hojageldiyev remains optimistic: "Only two rounds have passed, there are still four more to go. We will prepare, this is a cup tournament, we will continue to prepare, we have everything for that."

It is worth noting that at the end of the second half, Altyn Asyr's goalkeeper, Batyr Babayev, feeling discomfort, requested a substitution. He was replaced by Dovletmuhammet Jallatov in the 88th minute. Regarding the goalkeeper's condition, Hojageldiyev said: "We don't know yet what's wrong with him, we will find out and then see."

In the next round on November 6, Altyn Asyr will play an away match against Al-Taawoun from Saudi Arabia, where the team will try to earn their first points in the tournament and return to the fight for a place in the group stage.
