In combat sambo, Bagul Nuryeva (up to 50 kg) and Rushana Nurjavova (up to 59 kg) received gold. Kazakhstan is in the lead in the medal standings (26 medals: 15-7-4), Uzbekistan is second (19 medals: 8-1-10), and Turkmenistan is third (21 medals: 2-6-13).

The head of the Sambo Union of Asia and Oceania, Alamjon Mullayev, noted the high level of organization of the tournament and the expansion of the geography of medalists. He emphasized the successes of the Korean and Indian national teams in combat sambo, as well as the Filipino athletes in women's sports sambo.

Abdysh-Ata from Kant beat Neftchi in the home match of the 13th round of the Kyrgyz Football Championship. The match ended with a score of 4:0.

The Turkmen forward of "Abdysh-Ata" Suleiman Mukhadov came on as a substitute during the game and scored in the 89th minute, setting the final score in the match.

The participation of the Turkmen national team in this tournament is considered as preparation for the qualifying round of the 2025 Asian Cup among youth teams.

Turkmen athlete Alp Arslan Begenjov won a bronze medal in freestyle wrestling at the Asian Championship (U-23).

The tournament was held from June 22 to June 30 in Amman, Jordan.

On June 27, President of the National Weightlifting Federation of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Myatiyev met with Director General of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Achilleas Tsogas at the IWF headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is reported by the MIT.

Tennis player from Turkmenistan Ilima Huseynova won a silver medal at the international tournament — ATF 14&under Shymkent GA.

The competition was held from June 22 to 29 in Shymkent (Kazakhstan).

Within the framework of the tournament, Ilima Huseynova held five meetings, in four of which she won a landslide victory.

In the 1/16 finals, she beat Vlada Kuzmenko from Kazakhstan with a score of 6:1, 6:2. In the next round of the 1/8 finals, the Turkmen athlete defeated Sofia Kirova (Kazakhstan) with the score 6:3, 6:4.
